That's pretty cool to see another early build charger. only about 700 cars behind mine! Damn I thought I had found my broadcast sheet!!! This car and mine were probably on the build line the same day. August 18th 1969.
My car is a 1970 but from what I see a very early build date. Production of the 1970 chargers began August 1st 1969 and my car has a build date of august 18th. Was just confused about the letter in some of the date codes. Dual fours chart makes sense but they only used the letters for 3 months...
Just a couple so far. I am new to the site and still trying to navigate my way around seems like a ton of awesome guys with a ton of knowledge. Just hope I can keep up. Lol
That makes sense my Charger was an early build car from what I understand. I think production of the 70 chargers started aug 1st of 1969. My car was built aug 18th 1969.

It's funny how some people just know at a very early age that they have a connection with these cars. I too was about 4 or 5 years old and knew that I would have a 70 charger. It wasn't my first car only because I couldn't find one quick enough, I've had mine since I was 16. Its hard to explain...
