Yes, it is the same idea. It is actually a better design than the Mopar version. I will probably have to take the glass in to a glass shop to see if any other brand of sleeves fit tight through the holes in the glass and still fit tight around the screw that holds it to the internal assembly...
Yes. That is the exact kit I've been finding for the last few months. It is discontinued and out of stock everywhere I have looked. Thank you for your reply. My rollers are good. All I need are the grommets that go through the holes at the bottom of the door glass. But I will take complete kit...
Thank you for the reply. It is not an emergency. I would like to get my wife's truck in the garage for the winter. The only way to do this is to put the Plymouth in the driveway under a cover. I would like to have the window installed for this reason. Did you try the kit for an A body?
Thanks B
I am looking for the bushings that go through the bottom of the door glass that attach the window to the regulator on a 1973 Satellite. Every kit that I find online is discontinued. I purchased the glass from Classic Industries but the nylon bushings disintegrated during removal. What a pain. If...
Yes this car has the tachometer but came with the factory satellite cluster. In 1984 the owner at the time used a totaled donor Roadrunner on the poor unexpecting and surprised satellite. They did a pretty damn good job putting it together. In the days of old when I did this I would cut between...
Somewhere along the line my Dash was butchered to install a non factory radio in my 1973 Plymouth. I understand why it was done because when I was in my teens I did the same thing to two of my old plymouths. I did a much cleaner job. Does anyone know of a cover plate that would cover the butcher...
Thanks again to all for the information and support. I very nicely asked a nephew to go over and take a picture of the dash tag Fender tag and core support. All match the title. I can breathe easy for a while
And yes. The title is for a satellite. So all is right with the world!

Okay. Silly question. The door vin tag on my car is RM21G3G and the title is Rh23G3R. Shouldn't both have the same third and fourth digit on the vin? Unless of course the RM door came from a car with fixed rear glass. Would that be correct?
I will be a little nervous for the next 2-1/2 months when I finally see the car in person and am able to see what I really have. By then I'll have owned it for almost 5 months. I am trying to be glass half full until then. Thanks again, B.
Thank you all for the input and encouragement. I may ask where to find additional vin locations when I pick up the car. My brother-in-law is eager to help but is in his mid 80s and I've already asked enough.
The firewall is white from the factory. The underside of the hood eas not. They did a poor tape job on the driver door vin. Obviously not white from the factory. Hopefully the dash vin matches the title. I'll find out later today.
