When I bought the car, it had a 69 driver side door but the passenger side was a 68. I'm not sure if it was the original door but this is a photo of the upper door pad from that door. Only outlined in red.

I read that post a while back and was fascinated by all of the the subtle differences. My car has all of the early equipment and configurations. Most of which can't be purchased new. Thanks again!

My Charger is also a Sept 67 build. It looks like the different hinge may have been an early production set up. I'm guessing the factory may have intended to NOT use the white sliders initially but then changed their minds a few months in the production year. Thanks for the photos and help!

They are both the "boxed" design as I see in the FSM. I wonder why my hinge cam looks so different. There's no way I can use the sliders with only one "wall". Weird.

I bought the white trunk sliders to install on my (very early) 68 Charger but when I went to install them, I noticed that the trunk hinge cam where the FSM says that the slider should rest on looks very different from the "box" style in the manual (both left and right hinges have the same set...

Rebuilt this past spring and drove it all summer on my 68 440. I'm putting the car away for the winter and thought someone who has a 70 440 w/ a manual transmission might be interested in it. The numbers on the body are a little difficult to read but the tag shows it to be a 4737s. Carb date...
