    Rear Firewall Sealant

Getting close to finishing up my new rear firewall. Any recommendations on a sealant that is flame retardant? I’ve used just a general purpose sealant in the past and would like to upgrade. This 3M seems solid but I strongly prefer something that is silver or black. I’ve also heard some of the...

    Sheet Metal Divider, How to?

Gotta say thanks for the idea on the platform. Cut up some corrugated material to do a mock up and I really like it. Not sure how it’s gonna work with the new carpet I just bought but it looks so good. I may force it in and deal with carpet later.

    Sheet Metal Divider, How to?

Pretty sure .040 is the NHRA Rule but I’d have to double check. I used .040 and then seam sealant. Funny enough, about to remake mine after I put a cage in.

    Hideaway headlights electrical motors

Brackets built today. They are custom to these actuators so not sure how much help that it but if you ever were to get these exact ones. Pretty simple round tube with the pin in it welded to angle with the mount holes going to the bumper support.

    Hideaway headlights electrical motors

Nice! I’m routing my piston through the old factory hole and then mounting the gate lever to the actuator by way of wire with play in it. I think trying to mount it direct to the lever will tear off or break something while the wire allows for flexibity play when it rolls up and down. Mounting...
