Hey y’all! Got my 73 charger running painfully rich, seemingly. It’s had a Holley Terminator Stealth on a very mild 400bb for a few years, but had never really ran quite right. I’m not tuner, curious if anyone knows anyone in Houston or southern Texas in general that can get this car running...
i have a 73 Charger with the original 400 big block. Running power steering. I have a 440source aluminum water pump and housing. No AC as of now, maybe one day I’ll add it.
I want to install a 130amp 1 wire alternator (I’ve added EFI and need the extra power for some other things), and due to...
I don’t suppose you have pictures of your install? When you say front right corner, is this the opposite position of the sending unit? I assume this set up still functions with the stock sending unit?
The Holley kit comes with hyrdromat, aeromotive kit comes with a big foam baffle type deal. Tanksinc has a similar kit with a metal baffle the pump “sits in”
I can look into it, but the issue is the 71-74 specifically. I’ve been lead to believe these types of kits won’t work because there isn’t space between the tank and the floor on these models. The tank design is different on earlier models and their are EFI tanks available for those models, not these
So my 73 Charger is going to be running Holley Terminator EFI. The kit comes with an in-line electric fuel pump, which is fine for the time being, but I’d like to eventually upgrade to an in-tank pump.
Tanksinc does not offer any fuel tanks for 71-74 b body. I’ve heard people saying the...
I’m not running an MSD distributor. It was Holley Dual Sync. I’ve spent the day looking at MSD Pro billet and an ignition box. But I’d much prefer that the efi system control timing if possible
The Edlebrock website specifies vacuum advance, so I figured I’d be in the clear.“Vacuum advance distributor may not clear cylinder head.”
I’m just shocked that neither Holley nor Edelbrock planned for this situation. I’ve been told “I have no fix for you” by Holley.
Well I won’t be grinding, I’m having a shop install and he seemed concerned about it. The distributor is quite large compared to stock, and he didn’t think he had enough wall to make room to move the cap freely
I just want to see if perhaps anyone else had ran into issues with this particular...
