thanks for the brake info, might have to lose the factory headers and go with some aftermarket to be able to obtain the disc brake mod..... what are you running for a distributor/ignition/plugs/fuel? how does it idle and respond?
Ok so I bought the 63 Polara with a 426 Maxi in it, have to thank everyone for their help/input - It does need a new distributor (no vac advance) and new carbs, it currently has chokeless Edelbrock 650's...runs awesome, but would like to make it a bit more streetable... I have a couple of...

Buckets on hold
Just bought a 63 Polara, has the bolstrom (van type) buckets in it, currently looking for a shop that can restore these buckets...
Dash pad still available, buckets are off the table for now.

absolutely - may need to have the seats re-done (frame/mech/etc) they are in pretty bad looking shape, saw the covers from legendary, and will probably go that route... but need to get them restored first.

the motor is in a 63, its a tribute/clone car, not a matching #'s - I just wanted to confirm the casting #s were in fact off a Maxwedge, they did a nice job on the restoration --- price seems fair, true rotisserie resto, correct body/wheels/tranny/interior/etc I just know ive seen...
