Alright every buddy I'm finally getting stationed 1000 miles from home. I thinking of driving my wagon down I have put about 2000 miles on it with no problems. The only problem is the tranny makes a whining noise at take off and then it go away, is this something to worry about, or do you think...

So I finally got some work done on the car today. Clean it up, fixed the miss by changing plug wires, also grease the front end. I also cleaned one of the rallys. Then I took it for a drive.

Alright I need a little help chossing a good cam and carb for my stock 1971 383 in my wagon. It has 2.76 rear end gears and stock exhaust manifolds that are going to be flowing though 2.50 inch daul exhaust. I'm looking for a cam that is going to wake it up and give it some decent power gains...
Nope no jack stands this year. But I did get a set of rallys for it, and progess is coming a long its going in next week to have the exhaust done. And then I'm going to start driving it almost daily.
Thanks man, I did get lucky, with almost no rust. I know what you mean about winter to, I'm just glad it has not starting getting cold here yet. It is still high 60s and sunny.
The funny thing is that I have all the stuff to do front disc brakes. I just really wanted to redo the drum and see how it would stop because I have ever gotten to drive a big block car with drums all the way round. And so far I am very pleaced with the drums and they can stay a little long.

Ok right after i got my big block wagon going good. The right side exhaust collector started to leak, so i pulled it apart cleaned it all up and put a new gasket in. It ran fine for a few miles and the leak came back. I did knowest when I pulled it a part it had two gasket I don't know if this...
