    Mopar 528 camshaft

    I had the MP .528 cam in a 512 cu with 1.6 rockers. Static kompression 10.3:1. Cam install at 109* Cranking pressure was 165 psi if I remember correct. Well, it was a blast to driv on the street, boil the tires anytime I wanted. Have fun!!

    Thanks for your answer. What I can se from a video taken from a track with poor traction is there are no or miner separation between tire and body out back. Is there a rule of thumb how much body separation there should be? Im the only One around here that drivs Mopar so I have no one to ask...

    Spicer (Dana) I'm usually have luck with Spicer, but this time I must have done something wrong... Gear pattern looks ok to me and I can not find any obvious errors. Spicer specs B/L to .006-.010 and I have .011 maybe that's the problem?

    In this case both gears were from same manufacture so I just check the pinion depth on both and measure the old shimstack. If I remember right I hade to add .003 shim for the new pinion.

    I measure the B/L and now its .011. I check over ring gear and cap bolts, all fine. Oil has no debris or metal flakes and looks as new. I check have to check the in & out slack on the pinion tomorrow. Mmmm! Yes, I know exactly what You mean about those crap shims..... :BangHead:

    Extension for front shocks?

    New and old shocks are both 10,250 compressed, but my old is 16.500 vs 15.500 for the new one. I have to measure before I made an extension so its not gona be any problems either way.
