I have a 1964 Dodge Polara 500. The horn button says golden anniversary etc in gold and there is gold piping on the seats. It is mostly original with black interior and painted red with a color code 99. The only thing that is not original is the brakes.
My boys have been making their way home from college these last 2 weeks so I did not make it to Morro Bay. I plan on going to Paso on Memorial weekend. I usually avoid the coast then but I want to go to the show. I have good news. The car is running! Next we will be replacing the breaks...
Haha. We were there at Cafe Della Via. It was my son’s birthday so we drove over. He was staying at the house with his girlfriend. We were over this last weekend doing yard work.

We live and work in Lemoore but play in Cayucos. We have the wheels off and have ordered new brakes. We are thinking about putting some Cragars on. We changed the oil and filter etc and it all looks good but we think some new spark plugs and coil are needed. She really wants to start. Hopefully...
So here are my details. My grandfather passed away recently and he was quite the car enthusiast. There was a “big red car” that I always loved in his shop. Now it is my turn to take care of it. It is a 1964 Dodge Polara. My great uncle was the original owner. Then it sat in my great...
