Yeah the gauge in the dash, the negative was loose and a little crusty, the terminal post itself has some movement so I'm going to replace the gauge itself, wiggled and snugged it up and it's working for now! Thank you for replying!
Talking with the previous owner, he said that he had an issue where the nut on the voltage meter came undone and he had no power to the car. He said he tightened it and it started working again, I drove it about 1.5 hours home the other day when I purchased it so it must’ve vibrated back off.
Yes, the car has been restored. Everything is brand new, one thing I did not think about is the fact the power runs through the voltage meter, talking to the previous owner he said he had an issue where the nut came undone on the gauge and he tightened it in the car started right up.
Hey there! My 1970 Charger was running fine yesterday then when I went to take it out yesterday, I had zero power to the ignition when I turned on the car, nothing with the key on or accessory, I’m generally new to mopar, could it be the starter solenoid, neutral safety switch or ignition switch?
