Thanks for all the help sorting this out! I'll put it back to factory with one switch for the dome/interior lights. I have new factory wire hardness for it so I'll just wire it to the diagram with the new wires.
it sure looks factory, the original owner talked about the ignition key area being lit up when the door opened and he thought that was an option.? Both switches pictured
Restoring a 68 Charger R/T it has two drivers side door switches and one passenger side door switch. Unable to find a wire diagram with two drivers side door jam switches. Any help on knowing what the second switch is for would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the response! The trailer plug makes sense, never gave that a thought. I’ll weld a plug in it. Must have been a factory option that they just covered up on those who didn’t order that option.
As I was sanding the tail light panel I noticed a round crack in some old body filler. As I sanded a piece of body filler came out revealing this extra hole low left of the trunk key opening. Not sure what its purpose is? Anyone know what this is for?
