That is interesting, my understanding is that the bellhousing pattern is the same on the SB and the 5.7. I understand from my research that the flywheel is different 8 bolt vs 6 bolt. one guy also stated that he put on on but had to cut 5/8 off the transmission input shaft. Has anyone done this...
It sounds like a bad switch. pull the plug on the back of the switch and jumper the lights if the fues does not blow repace the switch. If it does blow then start chicking bulbd you may a a filment broken and touching ground but it does not blow the fuse until full power is applied. Hope this helps.
I have the long piece for the front fender but not the spear. I think I have a spare w/washer tank, will check. latch pieces I will have to check on, I know I have a full console.
