You know 383 fireing order counter (clock wise) right ,just sayen. Were the old plugs black and sooty (fine black powder on plugs)if so its to rich, i had the choke closed to much cold start and blew the choke plate of the carb holly 4 bbl. Re adjusted float to proper level adjusted timing...

HI ,i have read this 7everal times and the question i have is can you use a 1 3/4 in pinion in a 741 ,i have a 2070741 with stock factory 1 3/8 pinion and want to up grade to the 1 3/4, whats the difference between the two the 741 and 742 any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
