That's why I think that as always, buyer beware. If I hear the term, three on the tree, I believe it to be a manual shift 3 speed, not a column shift automatic. Again, not sure this is bogus or not, but I would be very wary. Just me!

I agree. Something is not quite right. The spelling and the way the sentences are structured seem not quite tight. I'd be very careful with this one. Just my $.02! Mike

I am going to bet on the flex lines. Over the years, the rubber/liner expands and will do odd things, such as allow fluid to flow one way, towards the wheel cylinder and feels like the brakes are locked -- they are! I would also agree that re-plumbing the car should be one of the first parts...
