Well crap because I bought the parts for 11” from classic industries. I will go either back to the manual or get the “upgrade” but where do you guys suggest I buy the correct parts? Thanks again for all the help!!!
Thanks to everyone that helped with this issue. I was able to get the car completed today with my back issues getting better plus I was able to get the old paint looking better for now.
I was able to get this setup on one side before having to stop. From my understanding the 68Bee has 3x11 drums. I have the service manual but still confused if this is now correct.
i removed the spring and used the larger hole but turned the spring 180 which seams to have done the trick. I will get a picture later as right then my back said no more and locked up. Never had this happen before. Getting old is not that much fun.
The rear drum brakes on the 68 Superbee do not seam to be correct. I am following the book but the bottom spring looks out of place. I bought the spring kit twice 3x11 thinking I got the wrong kit but they were both the same. Advise on the next steps
The first two is what I have installed...

After years of waiting the Bee finally is wearing its top again!!! My dad repainted the car almost 30 years ago never being able to get this back on the car. The paint has seen better days but it runs, drives, and has new interior installed. One day this may be tore down or it won’t as I am...
Thank you for the replies and I hope to start the teardown in the next month or so and will keep what I can as I really want to keep it reasonable as it will be a driver. I will update when I start the teardown!!
Unfortunately these will never see a life they were made for!!! All body plastics, roll cage, bumpers and basically everything you see on the outside is removed. As of now there is nothing in place to do anything with these parts and I need to figure out how to set that up. We have tried to...
I will not have a shop but will finish the Superbee in the next couple of years, then take a road trip so it will live in Oregon for the rest of my life!!
