    1970 roadrunner advice

Haha that’s exactly what I thought and was told by my good friend. He said you would be crazy to pay anything over 30k for that car with no numbers. Already discussed with the owner yesterday he will not let me pull the weather seal when I go and look at it. He said it’s not worth pulling a seal...

    1970 roadrunner advice

He’s asking 38,000$ for the car. No I don’t care about engine numbers matching. I do care about if it’s a satellite and not a RR. I would just hate to always question if it was a true RR. Dash VIN and title is a RR VIN but as we all know that doesn’t mean it’s a true RR. That’s how people these...

    1970 roadrunner advice

It’s not that I’m a numbers I could care less about numbers matching engine and all that. Since there is no fender tag I care about the body numbers matching to prove it’s an actually roadrunner and not a clone and someone switched the dash and bought a roadrunner VIN to put in it.

    1970 roadrunner advice

It is not an original 6 pack car but yes 100% has a six pack. I am planning on seeing the car in person and know what I’m looking for. I just don’t want to waste my time going if there is no numbers to prove it’s an actual roadrunner. I was just looking for peoples opinions if they think it’s...

    1970 roadrunner advice

How often do the numbers get painted over and can’t see them? I know it happened on one of our challengers. If the support or that side of the car where the trunk was got damaged then those number could be gone right ?

    1970 roadrunner advice

Hey guys! I am looking at a 1970 roadrunner to buy only seen pictures so far and talked to the owner. I am looking at advice if I should pursue the car or not based on the following details. It has a roadrunner Dash VIN number. There is no fender tag. The owner who I can tell just bought a...

Hey thanks for the information guys ! It’s not a true 6 pack car. That’s why it doesn’t have those extras on it. I’ll take a look at those things you mentioned. He’s asking $38,000 for the car.

Going to be a driver toy not looking for a top show car. The owner doesn’t understand numbers or clone cars. He has it priced as a roadrunner. To me the price needs to be knocked back because it can’t truly be known that it’s a roadrunner. I just don’t want to pay roadrunner price if possibly...

I know I need to look at in person. I am just wondering if it’s even worth looking at if the only thing that says it’s a roadrunner is the dash VIN????

Here’s some pictures mainly worried about it being a genuine roadrunner with only a dash VIN and no other numbers the owner claims.

Thanks guys. The title has the same roadrunner VIN as the dash. Ya I am worried about a clone with not a single other number on the car besides the dash VIN claims the owner.

I have recently been looking at a 1970 Roadrunner for sale. By the pictures it looks like a very nice car but have not seen it yet in person. The car has a roadrunner VIN. No fender tag. The owner is not a mopar guy and didn’t know about the radiator support number or the trunk lip number. He...
