Hi, has anyone fitted an aftermarket air cond kit to a 63 B body or similar? Have been looking at the kits from Classic Air and Vintage Air - looks like you can't get a year specific one but can do a generic kit......which I worry could be one of those jobs I wish I never started! I'm in New...
Thought I'd post this on the site anyway even though I am half way around the world - you never know who might be looking across the globe.
This is how we build them in NZ - 440/727 and 3.9 suregrip. Privately imported to NZ in 1964 & hopefully will find another mopar fanatic to own for many...
I should really sort out the spare wheel which just sits in the boot. Could anyone post a picture of what the hold down set up looks like in a 63 B body? Know any suppliers where I could get the clamp etc? Not much to reference off here in NZ! Thanks guys
My door windows rattle in the rubber/felt channels so it's time to replace them. Any suggestions as to suppliers who can supply an entire kit for channels, felt and anything else I'd need. Needed to suit 1963 330 two door post. The windows haven't been out for years so any suggestions/tips on...
I just had some custom made headers done for my relatively mild street 440 and after a Dyno tune picked up 40rwhp over the factory high performance 2.5" manifolds. Cheers.
Just put mine on the weigh station actually and it came in at 3550lbs with half tank of fuel and no driver. This is a BB 1963 Dodge 330, auto, full interior, and fiberglass hood.
Summit are recommending the use of shock extensions to give another 3" of travel given they no longer sell the MP drag shocks - see link. I'm having difficulty finding station wagon or Imperial shocks that are 25" long so any suggestions appreciated. JEGs can supply drag shocks but their freight...
Hi, I'm ordering some super stock leaf springs for my 63 Dodge 330 and will replace the current air shocks. Any recommendations for rear shocks for what will be street and some strip use? Do I need longer shocks than stock with the S/S springs? Thanks, Andrew
Thanks Bob. I'm looking at Summit also as the supplier. I thought the springs came with new bushes but sounds like you bought them seperately? Or was that just the hangers? Cheers.
Would be an expensive starter if it turns out not to be the starter motor - such as fault with relay, neutral safety switch etc........hence why I thought I'd ask for others experience.
Over the last few weeks, twice now when trying to start the Dodge there has been nothing on turning the ignition. A fiddle with starter relay, tap of starter etc has got it going both times so presume it is a sticking solenoid or similar.* I don't want to get stuck somewhere though so any...
Am having an on-going problem at the drags that when I mash the throttle out of the lights, the engine dies, sometimes stalls or may pick-up and accelerate away. It's fine driving on the street but instant full throttle causes a problem. Engine is 440, auto, Holley strip dominator single plane...
Hi, am taking the family to the USA at end of March (arrive 30 March) for a holiday and would love to hear any suggestions of what might appeal to a Mopar man for us to see/visit (car wise that is). We are visiting Santa Monica, Las Vegas (taking in NHRA), Miami then drive up to Orlando, then...
