Factory big block cars didn't have any reinforcement other than boxing of the torque boxes. It's not necessary but the boxing of the torque boxes and the frame connectors will make make it much more enjoyable to drive even if your not racing it. The car will feel "more stable" and tighter over...

Either way they painted it nice. I doubt they would do the detail they did and hack a floor pan into it. Needs an alignment too, left front tire is wiped out on the inside edge.

Congratulations on your purchase. The car looks great. The difference between the belvedere and sport fury was the trim level. The sport fury came standard with the hard top and they came with console, bucket seats and more chrome trim.
