    Meter shows 12v all over the housing when its plugged in and in my hand, otherwise isolated from the car.. It must be making contact under the switch.

    Thanks! I still have some research to do on the history, but I bought it from an individual in Florida. According to him, the restoration was at least partly done by a retired Chrysler Engineer from back in the 60s! It has the #'s matching 440 and 727 TorqueFlight. Not sure when it was rebuilt...
