yes, on the driveshaft,
straps from 67 741 rear.
Are the caps the same size from respective u-joints.
Both original equip, Dana 23 pinion spline flange, I have it, don't have 741 anymore
I just don't know if u-joint caps are the same size, whether the 741 straps will work on dana 60 yolk or...
Gentlemen, quick question, switching my 8 3/4 out with Dana 60, question is Will the straps of the 8 3/4 work on the Dana 60 yolk, I know it will line up and screw in but not sure if it has an effect on the Dana's u-joint cups, the Dana is missing it's straps, have extra 8 3/4's.

Gentlemen, I'm refreshing a Dana 60, Seals, inner and outer, axle bearings, pinion seal, brakes etc.
The question is there a gasket behind backing plate(against axle tube) and a gasket on the front side of brake backing plate and the axle retaining plate.
I know the service manual shows one...
