Don't forget some anti-seize to put on the threads to avoid galling.

I am using one ( RPM) in my 383 68 runner and had to go to a drop down air cleaner. It just clears with a 3 inch filter. I don't think the rpm will work for your 440 but the performer should. I couldn't believe the weight of the original cast intake. Good luck with it.

I read everything I could find on cams for my type of driving which sounds just like yours, then ordered the 60302 and rpm heads for my 383 4 speed. Haven't installed yet but the Lunati sounded just right for me. Good luck with it. Bill
