Beekool, Here are the pictures of the set up that Pomonamissel recommends and he is correct this will work on the big block. It looks like these are the brackets that Classic Industries (part # MD2602) has, but my catalog says for non AC. I think the correct set up for my 1969 charger is closer...
Update, I got a couple of test pumps from a mopar nut at the mill. One of the pumps seems to match the pump that Pomonamissel (that is a long name!) recommended. I put it on and it looks like it will line-up. Still confused a little because my reference book (Charger, Road Runner, & Superbee...
Dear Bearman, love the idea but ......unfortunately started buying parts a year ago and the darn power steering is the last to go!!! but getting close, RC's picture looks to be what I need. I have the bracket and pump but my pulley is not correct. I hope!!

That measurement looks to be pretty close to what I need. Here is a picture of what I have, I hate to be a pain but could you get the same measure from the other set up? Thanks for all your help!!

It looks like your bracket and pump are the same as the new bracket I have with the old pump i have. Comparing my picture to yours, the difference seems to be the distance from the end of the power steering pump shaft and edge of the pulley, It looks like if I had a pulley whose flange was...
Update, purchased bracket, its fits water pump housing fine, federal power steering pump that I got with the first bracket I got fits new bracket fine, but.......pulley groves do not line up. Question is, did federal power steering pumps have different pulleys for cars?? Please help!!
