First let me say that although I don't have alot of activity on this site I have been a member over on FABO for almost 20 years with my 1969 Barracuda. A friend got in a fender bender and is now looking for a passenger side fender for his 1965 Coronet. Pick up in Carlisle will be a bonus as I am...
A quick way to tell a 348 from a 409, the 348 has the dipstick on the driver side and the 409 has the dipstick on the passenger side. Beautiful trucks. Bobby
Water freezes from the top down not from the bottom up that's why water came out when you opened the drains. It wasn't cold long enough to completely freeze the whole block. Also 50/50 coolant boils at a higher temp than water so less chances of boiling over in the summer. Good luck Bobby
Hi. Robin is a good fellow and does good quality work. He is in Fredericton N.B. about 2 hours from me. I have been a member over on FABO for a long time but I visit here often because a b body is on my list. Bobby
Hi. I had heard of that car years ago. I don't know if it is the same car, I never saw it or pictures of it. At the time it was owned by two brothers in Nova Scotia who were very much into mopars. It was sold quite a few years ago but I don't know where it went. I do have his name and phone...
Looks really solid. The body might be 1936 but the front clip is for sure 1939. The square headlights were available only in 1939 and round ones were also available that year. I wish bodies that old were in that kind of shape around here. Bobby
Hi. first let say that I don't have a lot of history on this site but I have been a member over on FABO for a long while. I have for sale # P4510635 mopar performance cross ram linkage new in the box. It is complete with the pieces still in unopened plastic bags. I don't have photos at this...
Hi. I bought some chrome valve covers from RESURRECTEDRIDE just before Christmas. Because of holidays and our locations they arrived today. They are in mint condition just as he described. Just want to let everyone know he is great to deal with,no issues at all. Thanks very much. Bobby
Thanks everyone. A little more info on the car. Original 318 car until 4 years ago now has a 340. White bucket seat interior, column shift, a4 silver paint. I am the fifth owner and have paperwork from the dealer where it was bought new. I have owned the car for 14 years and drive it alot in the...
Great story and beautiful GTX. Love the color combination and steel wheels. Your street rod is very nice also. I remember seeing your rod and talking to you at the Atlantic Nationals in Moncton N.B. a few years back. Glad to see you still have it. Bobby
