i had a j-3 cub for awhile. that was fun

so it sounds like i need to use it & drop the drive shaft once in awhile to lube the splines

this is on my 727 output shaft. part # on it is 2400301 & looked it up says it's output shaft seal. it's on my 65. it's not on my 64 or 77 727's. read something about being used on 65-66 slip yoke that had a grease fitting to lube splines but my doesn't have that. i don't get it. can someone...

should give me something to do this winter. trying to end up with a BB cable shift 24 spline input & slip yoke output.

there is a person on here that is selling a 971 pan & has good pics of it. but no pickup

that's kinda what i was thinking. 400 for a pan & pickup seems like alot. i did find a place that still showed a moroso 20765 pan but never called them to see. moore auto. new pan. they are asking $255. i think the max wedge pan would be the cats meow.

doing the same swap you are & can't find a 971 pan or the moroso 20765 pan. van's sells the 2465195 pan but doesn't have a pickup. i can't find that pickup. van's has the max wedge pan & pickup with 3/8" that fits the 440. if you find a 971 pan i think mopar performance still sells the pickup...

could you post some pics of it? do you have the pickup for it? how much are you asking for it? and would you ship it? thanks

thanks all for info on my 440 in 65 belvedere swap. of my 5 oil pans none seem right as it seems i need a 971 pan. and they are not around. one here for sale but looks kind of beat up. vans auto sells one on ebay part#2465195 that looks like it is for 64-65 b-body bb 361-383. anyone think this...
