not a brand loyal gearhead, just into any cool old car, especially classic American cars... My daily driver is an unrestored '67 4-dr Coronet with a little 318 and a piece of junk 2-barrel Stromberg, my race car is a '66 Chevy Biscayne with a 406, and my tow vehicle is an '84 Chevy Silverado crew-cab dually. Strangely enough, my 550hp low 11-sec pump gas race car gets 13mpg, my understandably massively heavy giant pickup truck gets 8mpg, but my mild stock Coronet with a little small block, also only gets 8mpg... go figure. Plans are to replace the stock intake, carb, and cam with an Edelbrock Performer dual-plane, QuickFuel 4-barrel street carb, and a mild CompCams cam... hopefully that'll give it a bit more efficiency. Otherwise, great daily driver, drive it all year long, even in deep snow. I'm not into babying cars, they're just cars to me, meant to be driven...
