There are some cases like the Burn Out Contest at the Nats where you have to use brakes (see photo to left). LOL But I agree a no brake burn out is much more impressive.
I love mine and so do all of my buddies. It rides and handles like a dream with just a few changes. It cruises like it should for a Cordoba and right now it'll run 13.30's. I'm getting a new higher horse 440 put in it right now. Hoping to get in the 12's. Don't be afraid they're great cars. Bruce
I know this is a stupid request but I've been trying to find mounting clips for the rocker trim on my '77 Dobie. I'll understand if you don't want to bother with this but I figured I'd give it a try. Thanks, Bruce
I like the 2 tone paint. Especially in blue. To each his own though. You got a good fixer upper there. When I bought my Dobie back in '97 everybody asked what the hell I was gonna do with it. Now I have a real eye catcher at the shows and a shocker at the track when she runs a 13.30 pass. Do it...
I know I'm comin in last on this thread but all I did on my Dobie was trimmed down a piece of 3" C channel to somewhat match the back floor and welded it in. My car launches hard and straight with no problems. Good luck Bruce
