Buy it , They are not makeing them anymore, I know around here its hard to find any mopar parts , Called local junkyards and they laugh at you for any thing older than 1990. I paid 500 for a 44o bare block.
Bought Mopar Performance valve covers and installed a breather cap on one cover vented to atmosphere. Do I still need to install a pcv valve on cover and run to carb ? I have duel carbs do I tee them together or plug vac ports on one carb ?
When I started installing the valley pan noticed center port is not cut out on heads, there is a port on heads and on intake. Whats this for? Do I need to cut this out ?

Well I droped tranny and added fluid, Better safe than sorry, Took more than 2 hours but I did have help from my wife, Worth every minute to see her under the car covered with greese and oil !
I bought a 440 motor block and started building it, It was missing almost everything, (very expensive should have bought a crate motor) anyway my old motor a 318 the fan bolted straight to the water pump. Do I need a clutch fan or can I just bolt a fan on ?
