The. 33 is back . Engine all over hauled. Runs nice but no brakes yet. Next project. Mice had made nests in the heads. New valves , new pistons,,block and heads all cleaned up. New aluminum radiator, new clutch. Then new tires and exhaust.
For some reason there are two electric fuel pumps. Think I will go with the engine fuel pump. A custom aluminum radiator is ordered to replace the old original radiator. New tires are next and then new exhaust.
The 327 is out and apart. Mice were in the clutch and had been in the heads sitting on the valves. It is getting rebored, the camel back heads all rebuilt and new ss valves and new springs. A new clutch also. It had dome pistons but I will go with regular pistons. Still thinking it will be...
The new sender came from Vans in Wisconsin.
I still have the original but have not found any place to repair it.. the Satelite is sold so I am not going to repair it.
I just had the same issue with a 66 satelitte. New tank and new sending unit. Put in 5 gal of gas and no reading. I had check the se ding unit out before I installed it. I filled up the tank with gas and it worked. I don't know how accurate it is yet. I only driven it 15 miles so far..
