I do not use any adhesive at all. The kick panels and the screw hold downs under the door sills hold it well. I let it sit in the hot sun and use weights where needed.
I have had very good response fron ACC if the carpet does not fit right. I have always installed the carpet within a month or so. They have replaced the carpet if my pictures show the problem. And the replacement comes very quick.
I am having the same problem with my 66 satelitte. Right side only. I can't find any extra play on that side. Using mopar wheels fron a newer Cordoba and have had them on my 64 fury sw with no issues. I now I have a 1/4 inch spacer installed to make it work.
read the service manual about rebuilding the joint . The pin has to be centered with very little tolerance or you will have a vibration. I a press will work better. The rubber boot can be installed without taking the pin apart also.
I have Super Bright led and like them. I am using the led in the rear only on my 64 Fury. Super Bright has a resistor you can install in line and the original flasher will work. Make sure the led bulb has a very good ground for it to work proper. Super Bright has good customer service too.
