Dealership Quotes $30,000 to Replace Battery in a $10,000 Chevrolet Volt

I wonder if we could swap out the batteries for a complete drive train (front wheel drive would be easiest) and still have everything else work to run the car? Need to check the schematics. I know we could do it for less than 5k

The 2023 Mustang looks like a Camaro.

You just gave me a great idea for charging EV's at home. Building codes need to change. All garages need to be built out of steel and flame retardant in case it spontaneously combusts. Or maybe, detached garages will be a thing again!

Ray Angelelli Death, Mancini Racing Founder Has Died

He is in a much better place today with no pain, diseases or taxes. He has been elevated by God to watch over those who have benefited from his Mopar ingenuity to make sure we are using them to their full potential and safely. So, don't be surprised if you hear someone in your head telling you...

Is this 69 roadrunner worth restoring or is she too far gone.

Take the engine to a shop that builds mopar engine's and see if it is a good block or trash. This car was bought for 47k. Make it safe and enjoy. Yes, if you can get it for 1k that would be worth it.

    1969 Charger 340

Did you have to replace the shock mount cross member or is it por-15 painted? Are the edges only coated with the weld thru primer? I love watching you work through the process, you certainly are a master of your trade. Thank you for sharing your skills and the process.

Is this 69 roadrunner worth restoring or is she too far gone.

I'd do her! Her rear end is worth 2k and the 727 trans, who knows but she can be ridden eventually, she might not be pretty but shes complete for the most part.

    1969 Charger 340

Can you talk about your experience with POR-15 weld-thru primer and how you use it? Do paint all surfaces, just the backside, clean just the weld area? So many questions. How long have you been using it and any long term observations. Thanks

I am very impressed with the work you are doing, just stunning. Had no idea of a weld thru primer, thank for that tip.

Someone should snatch this car up.

Same seller, now we know his bottom dollar, I think he'll take less. Great car.

Someone should snatch this car up.

For now it still fits in the parking space. Don't they seem to be getting smaller?
