    My blinker switch went out. While disassembling the column I noticed the blinker switch retainer/hold down plate is missing. Can someone tell me if this part is needed since the screws already hold the switch in place? If needed, are there any reputable online stores that sell them?

    I added the adjustable PCV valve, and the accelerator pump seems to be working fine, but I'm still stumbling in first gear. It's like I'm trying to take off in third gear. Anybody got any other ideas?

    Can someone please explain the best way to disassemble the reverse detent assembly? I've heard horror stories of guys dropping the ball in the ball into the transmission, so I'm hoping to avoid that. Also, is there anything special to re-installing the assembly?
