I couldn't get my power steering box out from the bottom on my 66 charger. Needed a quarter inch or so. It came out the top easy enough after pulling the batt box and p/s pump.
I recovered my 66 headliner in a tan color cloth. Not a hard job at all. Took about two hours. I would assume all 66/67s had the hardboard back. I dont recall seeing one otherwise done

Look by the headlight relays behind the glove box. Unless it has been moved that is where the factory put it. Use caution, around 300 volts A/C give or take if its working right. Single connector (grey) two wires one orange and one white.
Agree with xpsyclonex2002 that the trans mount for the vertical is where you need to start. Check the trans tail shaft for a mounting flange on the lower side with two holes about 1 inch apart. Without the flange it will be next to impossible to convert to original style floor shift. I...
