Alternator putting out 14.7, battery at 13.1 out of van. New voltage regulator, two month old ecu. When running at idle, 10.5-11.5, while driving somewhere around 11.8- 12.0 maybe 11.99. While driving I have to down shift from D to 2 to keep from bucking and stalling when coming to a stop. Not...
1977 b300 sportsman royale 440 no overdrive. Electrical issues. Starts but must idle for a minute of two before able to put in drive without stalling. Voltmeter stays around 10.5 but will creep to 12v if on the gas pretty decent. Can't drive at night because lights are a drain on the batter.
Thanks for the replies. Ended up having a welder cut the bolt and nuts off and weld a piece of flat iron onto the bracket and then weld that whole piece back in place. When it was pulled free from the rail, the lower hose from block to radiator was stabbed so I was waiting to replace that.

Lol :) so very glad you asked.. had to divorce the wife, the negativity was killing the B ride vibe. Cleaned up the electric, new ignition rebuilt the TQ but ultimately it was just too temperamental. Picked up a factory rebuilt 3310s 750cfm for super cheap which was the deciding factor. Do far...
Tried coil and tried a used ecu but still nothing. Thinking it's a wiring issue but I picked up a new ecu so gonna try that first but still have to fix the fuel line leak
Leaky fuel line among the tangled salad of wires. My bud helped me to decide to start fresh so I went ahead and started to clear the mess of wires. Next post will more than likely be a cry for help in rewiring ignition but from the diagrams I've looked at it seems pretty straight forward. Went...
Checking gap now then will give er a go. Really appreciate all the good input. Got good ground at ecu . The distributor connector has been cut so splicing in new end on wires coming from ecu and going to try a spare distributor that is gapped correct and has connector intact.
