I'm going to use a 63-5 K frame. As much as I want the car to look authentic I also don't want a kink in my hood. This car will be raced so the hood will be up and down all the time.

I see a lot of cars that claim to be authentic Max Wedge cars that still have their under hood bracing. It seems like a few of the 62s on Bob Moshers website have their braces as well. Is it one of those things thats not worth doing? Oviously the air cleaners do not interfere with the braces...
