My new to me 64 Polara

I will ask the previous owner/builder of my car if he made any changes to the heater hose outlet routing. Everything I see for a 64 Dodge 440 shows they should be upper drivers side outlet. The change seems like alot of work. I'll see him at the Mopars in the Park show. All ready have my...

My new to me 64 Polara

Is there any difference, between cars with or without AC, on where the heater hoses come out of the firewall? I ask because on my 64, originally an AC car, the hoses come out low on passenger side. I bought the chassis manual and it shows that they are upper drivers side. Don't mean to...

    Greetings everyone!

Not a max wedge engine. It's an upgraded mid 70's 440. A&A cross ram. Car was originally a 318 auto.

    Greetings everyone!

The pucker factor was high as 3 of the 4 hour drive home was pouring rain with some rush hour traffic. In the dark. Thankfully had my wife following me. Was most worried of someone not paying attention running in to me. No issues. No leaks. Glad the hood was not cut for the scoop. Very lucky to...

1964 Dodge 440 power to manual brake conversion

Thank you all for the replies. I really hope I find the pedal bar has the two holes drilled. I'm hoping to limit my time upside down under the steering column. Was difficult 25 years ago when upgrading my Dart. I was actually in shape then. Can just imagine what it will be like now. Vandan I...

1964 Dodge 440 power to manual brake conversion

Greetings I am about to change from power to manual brakes on my car because I need room to install my max wedge manifolds. I bought a manual brake pushrod and new master cylinder. Is there a different firewall reinforcement plate needed? Anything else I will need?

1964 440. Working on swapping over to max wedge manifolds and the complete TTI 3in exhaust. Have to remove the power booster for the manifolds to fit.

    Greetings everyone!

Ha! That's why I'm here. Sure I'll have questions when I remove the power booster, install front discs and the new MW TTI exhaust.

    Greetings everyone!

Hopefully I did this correct and in the correct forum. My name is Adam and I am the proud owner of a 1964 Dodge 440. Drove it home from 4 hours away three weeks ago. Car performed flawlessly. Though I definitely need more practice after not driving a manual in 13 years. Always loved Mopars but...
