What’s the best valve cover gasket for a 68 383 using the chrome MP valve covers? I bought Mr. Gasket Ultra Seals from Mancini but the fit is not good and they have no alignment tabs. Thanks!

ckessel and matthon, are you reinforcement welding the pivot shaft sleeve inside the k-member box? And, doing so aides in keeping the pivot shaft from turning inside the k-member and bushing when installed and torquing the nut to spec? With my k-member installed and both sides of my suspension...

Pivot shafts torqued to 130lb/ft with nylocks

Thanks ckessel. Provided proforged lock nut was threading on incorrectly. Was able to remove junk nut and repair threads as best possible. Now have a non lock nut on and thinking I’ll go with a lock washer or a nyloc

Proforge greasable pivot, poly LCA bushing, and with weight of car (with engine) on front suspension, provided pivot lock nut spinning pivot prohibiting torque to 130lb/ft. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for the info. Studs removed for sealing. This is what I plan to use to seal the stud threads.

Does anyone know which exhaust studs on 906 heads have water jackets behind them? Haven’t ran in a while but did have some wet studs in the past and want to properly seal this time! Thanks
