my son in law used them on a 4.25 bore with a 560lift cam and he had to notch the top of the bore like they did on the max wedge motors for the big exhaust valve

hemi carter carbs have a small air cleaner mounting flange, the holley sniper would have the larger mounting flange , like a std holley carb. the classic ind, base would have to be modified for the larger bore size on the air cleaner mounting flange

62's have different bracing than the the 63-64, I know for sure 63-64 had the bracing removed on max wedge cars. I had a real 63 steel front with no hood scoop and the bracing was cut out factory. after I sold the car I built a clone 63 and drove it awhile with the bracing in place and...

also make sure you use the correct filter , the newer larger ones don't have the extra hole for the rear pump feed. The rear pump feeds the governor for proper shifting.
