Got it. Well I have none of the above.. Running an eaton Tru trac torsen style.. so I have some figurin to do. I am just being cheap / lazy as have the redone the axles U have with proper studs, new bearings / seals etc. Well It's a 64 Dart that I call Grüne Hölle. Here's the build thread...

Hello sages, Is it possible to do this mod? I have a lathe and can probably nibble ~3/8" off each axle for fitment. Is this do able or not recommended? Thanks, Greg
