    VC sealing tips/tricks

I use Moroso Perm-Align valve cover gaskets. I buy from Summit. They are the ones you described, rubber with metal center. Never any leaks.

Something you should know about hospital bills!

Kidney stones are no joke. Had them 3x in my life. Passed 2, the third had to get lasered. Their is only one way to get the laser up into the kidney... You don't want that, trust me!

    What shoes do you wear?

I've wear Sketchers shoes. They are broke in and comfortable right out of the box. They are also very light weight and durable. We do allot of walking and they do a great job in staying comfortable. For sandals I wear Dr.Scholl's. I've walked 5 miles at one time in them in Vegas...

    Proper Storage/Washing/Cleaning

Welcome! I try and avoid washing my cars. I don't drive them in the rain and avoid water getting on the car.. Reason being is I want to keep as much water out of the doors, seams, ect., but also because I have to wash the car after it gets caught in the rain. I wash them maybe once a...

Let's talk more about garage door openers.

I think its the luck of the draw quality wise. I have 3 cheap Chamberlain chain units that are around 19 years old and they work fine. It almost looks like the initial intall was incorrect or someone sabotaged the units by turning the adjustment screws to max. The fact that they lasted...

    Canadian fBBO members Need advice

As mentioned above, I've also ordered mopar parts from National Moparts National Mo-Parts – Est. 1987 in Beaverton Ontario. I've also bought allot of parts from Summit. I always crunch the numbers between them to see which is better. I have a US mailbox about 45 minutes away (Niagara...

    Mopar Action Magazine

He'd probably be swayed if you offer him one of those fancy NWT polar bear license plates! He's a nice guy to talk to actually. I spoke with him a few times in my lifetime, once back when he was a VCR repairman.

Should you save old parts or sell them?

They say they are going to bury me in my Cordoba. I had that beast since I was 16. My first car. I have a 71 Cuda that I barely drive anymore. Past few years I've contemplated selling it. This year may be that year.

Should you save old parts or sell them?

IMO sell them to recoup cash. I've had the thought that I'd save the parts for the next guy but in reality it won't/shouldn't deter someone from buying your car anyway (or make it less appealing). Its not like people have allot of choices out there. It's a bonus for the buyer to get extra...

    rear leaf springs ?

Years ago I called Detroit as they are closer to me and wouldn't require shipping. They told me they have the specs for the 77 Cordoba leaf springs and can add extra leafs because of my 500hp if needed. I recently decided not to use them because of some negative on-line reviews and the...

    rear leaf springs ?

I'm thinking of getting new leafs for my 77 Cordoba too. Final height is my concern. Espo can do factory height or plus/minus inches. I was thinking of doing a 1" increase in height from stock. You should post your choice and results when you have it done.

    Amazon sucks

I've had a couple issues with Amazon and they corrected it within minutes in a phone call. With Amazon being the second largest retailer in the world with over 1.6 million workers, there are bound to be many issues. I do agree that many of these large profitable companies need to improve...
