Last weekend my drivers side door latch would not open from the exterior door handle but would open from the interior handle on my 69 Coronet R/T. After removing the door panel and cycling the exterior handle everything looked good. I noticed the link on the latch was rotating about 20 degrees...
I'm having trouble finding details on the correct paint code for my 69 Coronet R/T rear panel which appears to be a flat black. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
D,
I had same thought comparing it to the radiator and engine compartment in the car without any luck. Here a is photo I took this morning showing the mystery part next to the bottom of my radiator.
Steve
Big D,
The top of the radiator has the following numbers: 18398 2949 055
I'm starting to wonder if this part some how got mixed up with my parts. I've moved three times since pulling the engine in the late 80's.
Thanks for your interest.
Steve

I had my master cylinder and power booster remanufactured. When I was talking to the shop I was told that mine was not for 4 wheel drum (which is what I have) but was for a car with front disc brakes and rear drum. Please let me know how I can determine if my car came with front disc brakes...
I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my 1969 Coronet R/T and was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase the dust gasket between the front brake backing plate gasket and the spindle? I'm also looking for the gaskets between the power booster and backing plate as well as between the...
I have a 1969 Coronet R/T that I have been restoring on and off for over 25 years and have decided to find a good shop to finish the job (no time). I'm finished with the engine, transmission and rear end. What's left is the suspension, wiring, interior and body. I live in St. Louis and would...
