    Dual Point gap setting??

Narrowing it down to the 2 non firing plugs helps. Pull those 2 plugs and check for cracks in the porcelain and check the gap. Throw in 2 spares gapped correctly if you got em and see how it runs. If the ones you pulled out are fouled heavily with oil, gas and carbon chance are the valve-stem...

    Dual Point gap setting??

Before 1980 is had a 1975ish Dodge van w/ 318 and 77ish Plymouth Trail Duster w/ 360, both sputtered me crazy every time it rained or the snow turned into slush. Pretty sure they were electronic ignition. Gave up on Chrysler for 25 years because of those two. After some research around '06, I...

You said "My car ran great for a couple of thousand miles.". Before those last couple of thousand miles, was it owned by someone else?

What is a good 12V battery voltage reading?

Interesting. It's like over the air digital TV, it's either all there or it's nothing at all.

What is a good 12V battery voltage reading?

Apparently someone at the factory hijacked your heavy duty powerful beefed-up battery, "Where's the beef" went the commercial. Or they only last two years for that application. https://www.cjponyparts.com/resources/auto-start-stop-explained The auto stop-start function relies on a series of...

What is a good 12V battery voltage reading?

Ever consider using a non clutch fan or adding an electric fan to the front side? Reason I ask is if your particular car has an automatic trans and your not running an extra trans cooler it would benefit the entire trans at all times to add an electric fan. These muscle cars tend to over heat a...

Just look at that engine bay. Wow. There was a time in history we took these beauties for granted and actually drove them in the snow and salt :steering:.

Nice, nice, nice! BTW. It be interesting to tally up how many have had purple cam failures. I hesitated to grab a built 440 from a local speed shop 7 years ago and then found out later that the purple cam destroyed itself under warranty. Have read about the issue too with other owners.

66 Satellite question, need a quick answer

I wouldn't know about that year however I ran into the issue with a 70 RR post car trunk lid I dented real good. Found a near mint 1970 replacement, had it painted only to find it was just touching the fender sides around both tail light housings when mounted. *Forehead smack at that point.*...
