Installing a trans cooler and I need a fitting that will screw into the stock mopar trans lines with a barb on the other end so I can attach a 3/8" hose onto it. Any ideas
building a 493 stroker and I'm leaning toward a 60305 Lunati voodoo cam. Will this cam be a good fit for a 493 without having an annoying radical idle?..Car will not be raced, strictly a street car...10.5 compression, aluminum heads, 727 T/F, 3.55 posi, 28'' tires, 9 1/2 dynamic torque converter...
Mike67, I decided to go with the Sidewinders after talking with Todd because he meticulously inspects, tests, and assembles each head in house at his machine shop. You give him the cam your running and he custom installs the correct springs, locks, retainers, to the cam spec using Comp Cams...
Thanks for the help guys..I talked to Todd at Marsh performance and decided to go with his Sidewinder aluminum heads..He's very knowledgeable and great to talk to..
Anybody have good experiences with the 440 source stealth heads. I'm on a budget and these are in my price range. They'd be going on a 440 used as a weekend driver and not racing. Cam is a Comp XE268 (.477 /.480), stock valve train, with Schumacher headers and 2 1/2" h-pipe exhaust.
Can you use stock stamped steel rockers with the Eddy aluminum rpm heads. It's a stock 440 with a comp XE268 cam .477/.480 lift. Weekend driver, not for race purposes.
Has anyone tried the OBX headers sold on ebay on a 68-70 B body?. These are half the price of the TTI's and appear to be well made. I've used TTI headers on my last 2 chargers and wasn't impressed with the fit, especially since they cost nearly $1000.00 bucks. For that money, they should fit...
I've seen several 69 b bodies with a tuff wheel installed, but I can't locate a spacer that would fit the '69 column. The spacers available are for 70 and up only. The wheel hits the turn signal lever when installed on a 69. Any ideas how to get this to work
Thanks
Guys running a Denso 1 wire alternator, did you hook up the internal regulator "sensing" wire to the starter relay or directly to the battery? does it make a difference?
Can anybody help me with a template for the factory hole locations for the "DODGE" letters on the truck lid for my 69 coronet R/T. Jacks Auto parts use to sell these, but no longer produces them. The ones I have are the originals and I don't want to break off the tabs to mount them with tape...
Has anybody blacked their 69 coronet rt tail light panel? I'm not a fan of the reflector in the center and was looking for idea's. Pics would be great. Thanks
