    Hey guys.

I havent completely decided yet. A complete resto will be expensive and honestly I intend to drive it a good bit, so I may end up giving it that "rat rod" look for several reasons, A: it's cheap to do and looks great and clean. B: with it being a very old car, it will be much easier to maintain...

    Hey guys.

Not new per se, but been out awhile. The 73 satillite pissed me off so I sold it and kinda laid low for awhile. But in the end I couldn't stay away from the mopar, it isnt a b-body, but it's extremely cool none the less. Just thought I would share...... 1951 plymouth cranbrook. I love this...

    Motor wear questions

Yeah guys it's not runner's fault. Like I had stated it had been unmolested. None of the original gaskets or seals had been broken. We did in fact figure out what happened.... Someone had drained the oil out and gunned the hell out of the motor, more than likely right before it started to...

    Motor wear questions

O.k. I have a low milliage 318. For the most part, you can pretty much tell the motor has been unmolested, except for a few odd bolts in the oil pan that don't match the rest of them. I bust it open to replace all the gaskets and seals(other than the head gaskets) before cleaning/painting...

    not to sound rude

All you gotta do is ask the right people. I have 2 38 coupe grills off of a couple millitary surplus cars I pulled out of a old barn up in blueridge ,ga. I also have some door glass, dash metal, 1 perfect roof that can be cut off, 1 complete tool kit with the cranks and wrenches, ummm....there's...

    not to sound rude

Doesn't sound rude to me at all. Things are what they are. Some people have been doing this for years, buying a car, fixing it up, selling, eventually you get to the point where you can have 5000.00 interiors done, and 10,000.00 hemi engines in your car. Sometimes it's just a matter of what...

How did you guys find your car?

Well, I have built many Gm vehicles from my 59 caddy to my 72 camino ss 454. I had orginally decided I wanted to build an older car, so I bought a 53 Chevy Coupe. Piddled around with it for awhile, got bored with it, traded it for a 1996 ZX6R Ninja. Well, turns out crotch rockets , especially...

Ok...what to do with my budget.....

After gaskets, exaust, fuel tank, and all other "mechanical" parts and so on, I have 2 grand left to dump into the body. The engine bay looks like crap. No rust thru or anything, but a almost 40 year old car, with a white engine bay....i think you can get a good picture....... I got a price...

    Fender Tag

Thanks Tem. That pretty much answered what I wanted to know. But also left me with several other questions...lol. Red side stripes? Where?....lol. Or was there originally a red peice of teflon or something in the center of the side moulding? I saw the transmission code on another site...

    fuel tank suppliers

Hmmmm....my dad seems to think I may want to put a fuel cell in the trunk. A: because of the trunk size, and B: because of people stealing gas.......thoughts?
