    440 starting

Don't know if this is the root cause of the issue, but I've heard nothing but bad things about the Orange Box. Haven't used one myself, so I'm not speaking from experience, but seems that most people on FABO recommend getting rid of that box even if it's not the problem. Just my 1 cents (the...

    Weather stripping

Which part exactly are you referring to? The original weatherstripping is still on my 66, so I could snap some pics if you wouldn't mind describing which part exactly you need. Are you talking about in the door jamb going up to the vent window?

318 Distributor Drive Gear in Engine Block

Yeah, the new Ready-to-Run shaft/rotor was 90 degrees out from stock, so i'm pointing a little off, but that's fine with me. I'm the only one looking at it :)

    Ballast Resistor Bypass

Just spoke with them to confirm. The ready-to-run distributors don't use a capacitor. Bypass the ballast resistor and the Blaster 2 Coil runs at .7 ohms, so all of that should be fine, from what i can tell anyways.....

    Ballast Resistor Bypass

I'll have to check the coil wire when I get back to the car. The MSD Blaster Coil and Ready-to-Run distributor combo requires that you bypass the ballast resistor.

    Ballast Resistor Bypass

You guys were dead on. I cranked it over by hand with a wrench, waited for it to stop blowing out the spark plug hole, pulled the distributor cap and boom, 180 degrees off. popped the dizzy back out, rotated it, clamped it back down and she fired right up. ran a bit rough for a second until i...

    Ballast Resistor Bypass

Well, got the ballast resistor bypassed, MSD Blaster Coil and Summit Ready-to-Run distributor installed, but I can't get it to start up. I ran out of daylight, so I couldn't really troubleshoot. I cranked the motor over with the #1 spark plug out to check for TDC, then set the distributor in...
