Must have rechromed it after the butchering. Mark looks like you get to add a hole for the remote.

The part number on the base is 2486235. I bought it on here because it was a manual mirror as my car does not have the hole for the remote. It looks the same as your remote one except for the screw where the stud should be. I wonder if something is missing in there. Also the bevel where the...

I dug it out. This a manual mirror as the car did not come with a remote one. The car had some funky aftermarket one on it. It is actually a long screw and is 2-3/8" center to center to the rear screw hole.

Yes. The stud is the hole just forward of the large one. remote cable through the large one and screw in the rear. A gasket would help you. It will be Friday before I can dig it out.

It's stored away in a tub but it is the same as these with the stud and single hole at the rear for a screw. That front hole don't belong there, and the rear one looks large.

Complete front suspension rebuild and some rear also.

1-59/64" is the correct socket. Measure across your flats, should be just under 2" The 2-9/64" is trucks and C-Bodies I believe. Never needed one.

72 and down were the same as E's and earlier B's. The screw in lower started in 73 and they switched to press in later in the model year. From what I have seen most 73's are screw in and 74's are press in.
