Tom F
Tom here. I am a 69-year-old Navy civilian engineer in King George, VA. I am planning on retiring next Spring. I own a 1970 Roadrunner Restomod (aka Myrtle) which I bought sight-unseen off e-bay 4 years ago. Needless to say, it was not all it was advertised to be, but it was in good shape and has a 440-6V and 4-speed. I want to make a driver out of her but cannot do the mechanical work myself (needs AC, PS and a 5-spd). Anyone know of an honest shop around this part of VA? The interior I will do for a fun project.
I also own a 1972 Mach I (aka Sally), who is being restored as we speak. Again, I will do the interior work. I just built a new house, or should I say I bought a 700 sq-ft garage with a house attached. I am fixing up the garage and started with epoxy on the floor. It was worth all the trouble of putting it down. My Sister set me up with a Facebook account last weekend, but I know little about it, yet. I am looking forward to being a member of this group. Tom
