Looking to find correct size mufflers for a 63 Sport Fury 383 with original exhaust pipes. they are N/A everywhere I have looked. Walker # 21603 19 x 24, 2in in 1 7/8 out. willing to go 2 1/4 in 2 out. but want to still be able to keep the original front pipes.

The big difference in performance isn't in the way they flow it is in the weight. 11.70 114mph with exh manifolds and pipes with open caps 11.40 117 mph. with cheap small headers and no pipes or mufflers to haul. About 120lbs less weight

loose axles If it has a sure grip it sounds like the axle spacers were left out. They are like a button with a shaft that slide into the center of the sure grip cage to take the end play out of the axles. If you can find a set of orginal ones there is a hole through the center for a roll pin...

Here you go, NAPA #'s are 13500 the outer axle seal. 15207 is the inner.

Tapered axle It's easy, remove the axle key and use the brake drum as a slide hamer with the nut on the axle a few threads.
