Ok, so it looks like the crank is cast so not the original for the 1966 block. Does the cast crank engine use a different harmonoc balancer, flex plate and torque converter than a forged crank? Thanks,

I have a 383 date coded 3.30.66. That said it "should " have a forged crank. Unfortunately I found the head were swapped to the newer 8462846 heads. I tore the motor motor apart and I'm not sure how to distinguish the type of crankshaft. I'm concerned someone switched it out. Thanks!!

I've been searching a bunch of forums and have even called Edelbrock Tech Support. My question is will the stock big block HP exhaust manifolds work with the Edelbrock 75 cc angle plug heads? I am concerned with plug and plug wire boot fitment. Is anyone out there running this combination...

Hello, I'm trying to find the piece that connects the quarter window latch to the inside back corner. It has broken. I bought a new latch but it didn't come with the bar that attaches inside the car. I've searched all the usual sites but can't seen to find that part.
