Good song. My factory tach is mounted on the center console. The wire goes thru a factory hole on the passenger side.

67 Coronet R/T Where does the clip go to hold the trans cooling lines? Looks like it attaches to the bottom left trans bolt but the lines don't jive with the location of clip. Anybody have a photo of this thing installed? I could make one but i already bought one from Inline Tube.

All good. I only needed to it move maybe a1/16. I checked with my caliper after each turn.

After further inspection and advice about the ear being possibly damaged... come to find out that all the ears on the driveshaft were bent! I was able to straighten them out with homemade tool. 12" piece of 3/4 all thread and grade 8 nuts with nylon inserts. I burned out the inserts for the...

The Cross with the caps removed does not fit between the ears on the driveshaft. So Maybe each end is equally bent?

I bought the Spicer 5-789x (7260 series) it's just a hair too big. The cross(caps removed) will not fit into the driveshaft. Also the overall size of UJ is wider than the end of driveshaft. Only bigger by maybe an 1/8" on each side. What would be the next step down??

No remains of old UJs. I chucked'em. Here are the measurements for the end of driveshaft. The length of the driveshaft is just over 51''.
