I need help. I’m having trouble will my rocker arms and lifers geometry. My project is the 512, with mainly 440 Source parts, too include the stroker rotating assemble, and rocker arms assemble.
Here the problem, the 3/8 in. push rods are not aligning with the rocker arm balls on the intakes sides of the heads (Stealth Heads). In fact, they are making contact with the heads, not allowing the push rod the necessary angle to properly mate with the rocker balls. I’ve installed the Mopar .528 cam with solid lifters. Furthermore, my lifters have a recess of 0.520 in., or about 2/3rd into the lifers bores, compared with a set of old solid lifters with 0.254 in. into the lifters bores. What’s the solution (s)?
