So a friend of mine is restoring a 69RR, he took the front upper control arms off and realized he needs to do a large clean up/restore of them as well as add new ball joints and bushings. He called me last night and asked "Should I just buy new stock replacements?"

Looks great. I assume you will use 600 or 800, with progression through 1000/2000, etc. for cutting. What are you using/used for buffing? I have used 3m Finesse products for a long time but I am always open to hear what others used and their results.
When I still had my 87 Grand National, I took it to a local (Orielly's) car show. It was free, and I won an award/plaque and they gave me a $20 card for the store. They are using this to promote business... IMO that is how you do it.
